Airoli Creek is a destination that is famous for the Flamingo Bird conversation project. It is a part of the Thane Creek Flamingo Sanctuary, which is a very significant wintering area for waterbirds. You can join a bird watching expert on a boat ride to appreciate the beautiful birds, such as flamingos, shorebirds, and waders. Meet our representative at the designated gathering point, where you’ll be guided to the sanctuary. From there, head to the boating launch site for an exciting boat safari filled with incredible wildlife sightings, including flocks of vibrant flamingos and other rare shorebirds or waders.
The Flamingo Boat Safari offers a unique opportunity to capture stunning photographs of flamingos from various angles. The colorful bird groups against the backdrop of the mangrove forest make for a perfect shot—ideal for wildlife photographers.
After the boat ride through the creek, we’ll take a short walk along the trail to observe and photograph more bird species. Please remember to bring light snacks, breakfast, and drinking water for the journey. The flamingo bird walk will conclude here.
