Feel the war-cry of the vanarsena of Lord Rama as they would have marched over to Lanka.
How about some spooky experience? Then the ghost town of Dhanushkodi is one such place. Since the 1964 Rameswaram cyclone destroyed it, time stands still. Walk around and listen to stories that the ruins say.
If the engineering marvels excite you, take some time to savor the view of India's first sea bridge. The Pamban bridge connecting Rameswaram island to the mainland turned 100 years old in 2014, and is still going strong. And yes, did we say that the views around are simply fantastic?

05:00 am: Reach Madurai early morning.
06:00 am: Have breakfast and Proceed to visit Meenakshi temple. Express Darshan Included.
08:00 am: Travel toward Rameswaram by Private Transport ( 3 Hours Drive from Madurai to Rameswaram )
11:30 am: Reach Rameswaram , Check in to the Hotel. Get Fresh and rest for a bit
02:00 pm: Have Lunch and proceed to Dhanushkodi. Visit beach, Ghost town, Arichal munai (the land's end).
07:30 pm: Come back to Rameswaram, Visit Abdul kalam house. Take a stroll in local Market.
09:00 pm: Dinner and retire for the day.

Day 4
05:30 am: Get up early morning and we will visit Ramanathswamy Temple. Interested people can opt for holy bath in 22 Kund (22 wells in temple premise where temple staff will pour holy water on you).
07:00 am: Proceed to darshan at main temple and goddess temple. Express Darshan Included
08:30 pm: Have breakfast. Visit nearby temples and Teerths like, Panchmukhi Hanuman temple with the floating rock, Ram, Lakshamana, Seetha teertham.
11:00 am: Visit Abdul kalam memorial.
01:00 pm: Come back to Rameswaram have lunch and Rest for a bit.
04:00 pm : Interested people can opt to Pamban bridge train ride (subject to ticket availability) or spend time at Rameswaram beach.
08:00 pm: Dinner
09:00 pm: Overnight stay in Rameswaram.
