About Bundi – Rajasthan’s Best Kept Secret!

This little kindom is known for its famous water reservoirs, architectural style forts, mahals, Havelis and stepwells.  It’s a bizarre laid back town which carries the beauty of left behind love and forgotten names. Queen of Hadoti, Bundi is also called by this name. Bundi has also been a great source of inspiration for Rudyard Kipling who wrote his art works in the palace of Bundi.  Cherry on the top, we are staying back at this beautiful place it’s definitely gonna take your breath away.

About Kota’s Grand Canyon – HAR HAR Mahadev

About Chittaurgarh -  The prominent Padmavati Queen and her Kathas

Considered as India’s largest fort, Chittorgarh fort acts as a boundary to the city. Perched on a high hill, this fort was unbreakable and undefeatable. Queen Padmavati resided in this fort and performed Jauhar and became the ever worshipped queen in Chittor. Rest, the movie Padmavat has already sung the bravery of Raja Ratan Singh. Words fall short to describe the beauty of this destination. Come let’s do this one time and touch the hidden places of Rajasthan.

Day 1: Friday

Meet Trikon Team at Mumbai Central Station at 06:30 pm

Catch MMCT JP (12955) at 19:05 Hrs, Borivali @ 19:34

Leave for Bundi. Overnight train journey.

Day 2: Saturday

Reach Kota by 8 am. Have breakfast. Start journey towards Bundi. Surrounded with palaces and forts, Bundi has many beautiful tales to narrate. The old world charm lies in its pristine location –surrounded by the Aravalli range and rivers. Right from step wells to cenotaphs, Bundi is the perfect definition of offbeat Rajasthan. Visit 84 Pillared cenotaph and Sukh Mahal Enroute. Later check in and fresh up. Rest for a bit.

Have lunch at a local place and continue sightseeing till 6:30 pm. Visit Dabhai kund, Nagar sagar kund, Taragarh palace. Come back to hotel. Relax and unwind. Let’s stroll around the local market and enjoy having local Rajasthani and Marwari delicacies. Come back to hotel and sleep early for the early morning wake up.

Day 3: Sunday

Wake up at 6 am and freshen up.  Have breakfast at 7 am and start journey for Kota. Reach for Garadia Mahadev temple. Reach there around 9 am and spend some time chilling in the views. The overlooking Chamba river captivates your senses and gives you the feeling of being on the top of the world. There is a Shiva temple at this place where you can pay a visit. The panoramic view is nothing but stunning.

Post this destination we shall proceed to the much-awaited Chittorgarh. On reaching Chittorgarh we have lunch and then take a chill break before proceeding for the fort sightseeing.

About Chittorgarh! – India’s longest fort

Chittorgarh is the same place where Rani Padmavati performed Jauhar the process of diving into the fire. Fort has beautiful remnants and water bodies where you feel lost. The top view of the city is also quite amazing. At some point in time, Chittorgarh fort used to be a village for the settlement of the villagers. The king and queen palace is also situated inside this haveli. It takes around 3 HRs for a guided tour; we will not just see places but also gather information from the guide. You can also stroll around the city and shop for souvenirs till dinner time. By 9:15 pm we will have dinner..

Catch UDZ BDTS SF (22902) from CHITTAURGARH Station at 11:10 pm. Overnight Journey in the train. 

Day 4: Monday

Reach Bandra Terminus by 1-1:30 pm.
