Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Journey to Shillong
- Arrive at Guwahati Airport by noon and meet the Trikon Team.
- Travel to Shillong, with a scenic stop at Umiam Lake (Barapani Lake).
- Check-in at your hotel in Shillong and rest.
Day 2: Shillong Local Sightseeing
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Visit Laitlum Canyon for panoramic views and lush greenery.
- Explore Mawphlang Sacred Groves and enjoy its biodiversity.
- Visit Elephant Falls, a beautiful three-tiered waterfall.
- Shopping and local culture at Police Bazaar in the evening.
- Dinner at the hotel and rest.
Day 3: Shillong to Mawlynnong to Dawki
- Early breakfast and head to Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village.
- Explore Mawlynnong, visit the single root bridge, and enjoy the village.
- Travel to Dawki and set up camp by the Umngot River (famous for its crystal-clear waters).
- Enjoy a campfire and dinner by the river.
Day 4: Boating, Water Sports, and Cherrapunji
- Morning boating on Umngot River (options for kayaking).
- Travel to Cherrapunji and check-in to your hotel.
- Relax and explore the surroundings.
- Dinner at the hotel in the evening.
Day 5: Cherrapunji Local Sightseeing and Travel to Shillong
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Visit Mawsmai Caves and Nohkalikai Falls (tallest waterfall in India).
- Explore Wei Sawdong Falls and the Garden of Caves.
- Return to Shillong and check-in to your hotel.
Day 6: Shillong to Kaziranga
- Scenic drive to Kaziranga, passing traditional Assamese homes and fishponds.
- Stop at Maha Mrityunjay Temple (one of the largest Shiva Lingas in India).
- Check-in at your Kaziranga hotel and relax.
Day 7: Kaziranga Safari and Orchid Garden
- Jeep Safari in Kaziranga National Park to see rhinos, elephants, tigers, and more.
- Optional Elephant Safari (additional cost).
- Lunch at a local lodge.
- Visit Kaziranga Orchid and Biodiversity Park, showcasing native orchids and Assamese culture.

Day 8: Kaziranga to Guwahati
- Breakfast and check-out from your hotel.
- Drive back to Guwahati (5-6 hours).
