About the Place:
Mandu is a ruined city in Dhar District of Madhya Pradesh. Thespell-binding architectural work here will leave you amazed and astonished. Known for the pure and unconditional love between Prince Baz Bahadur and Rani Roopmati, you will agree that love is in the air in Mandu. Mandu also has the oldest erected monument of India. Mandu is known for the floating JahazMahal which looks like a ship floating on the twin lakes. The Afghan architecture here will blow your mind for sure. You will witness the rich and varied history in Mandu through the places in Mandu. The streets of Mandu will make you feel alive and the palace will take back to the stories you heard as a kid.

Also, its serenity and liveliness will leave you amazed much like Maheshwar which is a town in Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh. If you want to boast about out Indian heritage then Maheshwar will give you a chance for sure. When one talks about Maheshwar the first thing that comes to mind is the statue of Rani AhilyaBai that sits on a throne in the Rajgaddi at the Fort complex. You will see the Queen Rani AhilyaBai residence at the Rajwada. Just imagine the fort and the beautiful temples inside the Maheshwar fort like the various temples Lord Shiva and the temples inside the fort such as Kaleshwar, Rajeshwara, Vithaleshwara and Ahileshwarand the breath taking view of the serene Ghats of the River Narmada.     Day 0 Travel from Mumbai to Dhamnod
    Board bus from Mumbai for Dhamnod. Overnight travel. You can book AC, NON AC, Seater or Sleeper Bus. We can also book it on request for you at the actual cost updated on REDBUS, which is around 1,500 to 2,000 depending upon season and availability.

    Day 1 Reach Dhamnod and move to Mandu
    Get down at Dhamnod, have breakfast and take a drive to Mandu which us about 40 minutes away from Dhamnod. Check in to our stay at Mandu is very close to the places of interest. You can freshen up and change to be ready for sightseeing. We hire a private government approved heritage guide to explore the places. Sightseeing happens from morning to evening.

    About Mandu: It is a ruined city in Dhar District of Madhya Pradesh, Hindustan ka Dil. architectural excellence that our ancestors seemed to have achieved. This city is testament to the unconditional love between Prince Baz Bahadur and Rani Roopmati. Mandu also boasts of the oldest erected monument of India.

    Day 2 Mandu to Maheshwar
    Early morning wake up at 6 am and freshen up. Breakfast gets served and you check out post eating we cover places if any remaining at Mandu and drive for Maheshwar, which is the beauty of Ahilyabai’s heritages and Ghats like the ones at Varanasi. It’s a 1 hour drive which means we reach Maheshwar and start our sightseeing for below places.

    About Maheshwar: Maheshwar is a town in Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh state, which boasts off a beautiful bunch of heritage making it picturesque and beautiful at the same time.

    Have lunch at Maheshwar by exploring the local food and shopping market.  We can board you’re the bus from Dhamnod before 8 pm and reach Mumbai next day by 7-8 am.
