  • Those flying into Leh, please ensure that your arrival time at Leh Airport is before 10 AM
  • Those opting for flight/train out of Leh, please ensure that the departure time of your choice of mode of transport is post 12 PM.

Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) is a potential risk at high altitudes and can be serious. It's important to acclimatize properly and heed any advice given by guides.

3. Roads : Most of the roads in the journey are hill roads or Ghat Roads. If you're susceptible to motion sickness, talk to your doctor about medication options before you travel. Medications like Avomine can be effective if taken in advance.

4. Local Culture and Customs: The Himalayan region is rich in cultural diversity, with many unique traditions and customs. Travelers should respect local customs, dress modestly, and ask permission before taking photographs, especially of people.

Day 1: Arrival & Acclimatization

Welcome to Leh! As you land and feel the crisp, thin air, you're greeted with panoramic views of the mighty Himalayas. Spend the day getting acclimatized to the altitude. Take it easy, hydrate well, and in the evening visit hall of fame museum. Take a leisurely walk through stories of legends who fought for motherland. Enjoy light and sound show and soaked in to patriotism. Reach back hotel and retire for the day.

Day 2: River Rafting & Local Sightseeing

Start with a healthy breakfast and get ready for an exciting river rafting experience on Zanskar River. Take a breathtaking journey through the thrilling rapids. After this, visit the historical Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, and Leh Market by relishing local delicacies and taking home souvenirs. Spend the night in Leh to relax and rejuvenate.

Day 3 Leh to Turtuk via Khardung La

Today, take off on an unforgettable trip to Turtuk, the last village on the Indo-Pak border. The drive takes you through Khardung La, one of the highest motorable passes in the world. The scenery changes dramatically as you come down into the lush valleys of Shyok. When you reach Turtuk, explore the unique Balti culture and take an overnight stay amidst its serene beauty.

Day 4: Turtuk to Sumoor

Take a leave from Turtuk and head towards Sumoor, located in the Nubra Valley. The journey is a scenic mix of dry lands and green fields. Explore the Sumoor Sand Dunes by taking a camel ride on the double-humped Bactrian camels, and then visit the peaceful Samstanling Monastery. Relax and spend an overnight stay in Sumoor.

Day 5: Sumoor to Siachen Base


Today's journey brings you closer to the world's highest battlefield, the Siachen Base Camp. You will traverse through rugged terrain and high-altitude passes, appreciating the stark beauty of the region. At the base camp, interact with the brave soldiers and learn about their extraordinary lives. Spend the night under the stars, reflecting on the day's adventures.

Day 6: Siachen Base to Pangong


Depart from Siachen Base and head towards the iconic Pangong Lake. The drive is filled with awe-inspiring landscapes, and the first sight of the azure lake is nothing short of magical. Spend the day soaking in the surreal beauty of Pangong, capturing the changing hues of the water. Enjoy a cozy overnight stay in lakeside camps.

Day 7: Pangong to Leh

Depart Leh via Pangong Lake. Overnight at Shey Palace while on the way; visit Thiksey Monastery on the way to Leh, arriving by evening. Enjoy the local cuisine and culture of Leh in your last night, remembering this fantastic journey.

Day 8: Departure

Now, it's time to say goodbye to the fascinating sceneries and the hospitality of Leh. Fill your heart with memories and your camera roll with fantastic clicks and get set for the onward journey from the airport, promising to return to this magical land someday.
