Travel Options
Arrival - You need to reach Kochi by 8am on Day 1 ( Suggested flight is Air India 5 am departure from Mumbai)
Day 1: Arrive to God's Own Country - Kerala, Drive to the Bahubali Falls - Athirapally
Meet your Trikon buddy at Kochi Airport and proceed for some yummy Kerala - style breakfast in Kochi. Then, move towards the magnificent Athirapally Waterfalls, famously known as Bahubali Falls as the shooting of the initial scenes of the movie was done here. You can seenit from the viewpoint, and also go down to the base for a best view with only a 15 min walk. Relax in the evening, enjoy the lush green atmosphere around you.
Day 2: A hidden Jem! The Marvellous Valparai
The drive through the forest stretch of 80 kms is one of the most beautiful drives one can ever have, I'm sure each one will fight for a window seat!
On the way we visit the Sholayar Dam, immediately as we enter into Tamil Nadu.
Valparai is a land of tea gardens, greenery and Waterfalls. This region receives one of the highest rainfall in the country.
After resting for a while, we go to the Kuzhankal River Point, relax by the riverside and then proceed to the Nallamudi view point where you take a small walk through tea gardens to finally get a stunning view of the landscape around and the highest peaks in Southern India.
Day 3: The most awaited - Adiyogi Statue
Have early breakfast and depart for Isha Yoga Center - Adiyogi Statue. On the way, visit the Aliyar Dam.
On reaching Isha Yoga Center, imbibe the calmness of the place and visit the Dhyanalinga Temple - a one of a kind meditation temple which goes beyond religion. You can also take a dip before entering the temple in the Surya and Chandra Kunds. As it gets evening, we will visit the Adiyogi Statue, enjoy the views and get some pictures and then enjoy watching Divya Darshanam, an award winning light and sound show.
Late at night, drive back and reach your hotel in Coimbatore.
Day 4: Departure
Have morning breakfast at a nearby famous restaurant and reach airport. We have suggested an Air India flight since food will be served on board :)
