Udupi - The Food Tour

Day 0 :  

Start Jounrney from Mumbai by 12133 CSMT - MAJN Mangalore Exp 

9:54 pm - CSMT

DAY 1 :

Reach Udupi by 1 pm - 

Have south Indian thali Lunch in Famed MTR restaurant and Check in to hotel 

Fresh up and rest for a bit. In the evening we will visit kapu beach and lighthouse. 

Later visit Sri krishna Mutt. Enjoy authentic Prasadam at mutt. Those who wish to have separate can have on their own. 

Day 2:

Today we will have breakfast at one of the most iconic spots at udupi, Known to be inventors of Udupi Masala Dosa, Mitra Samaj. Have sumptuous breakfast and move on today's sightseeing First we will visit Kodi bengare beach followed by Kemmannu Hanging bridge. Later on we will visit Maravanthe road where the road dissects sea and Backwaters. Later we will have lunch at shetty Lunch home where the Chicken ghee roast was originally invented. It also has many good options for vegetarians. In the evening we will go to st mary's island by boat. Enjoy the sunset from beautiful island. One can also opt for water sports. After that we will come back to main land and spend some time shopping. For dinner sea food enthusiasts will go to Machhli and vegetarians will have veg food at Vedantha. 

Day 3 : 

Today we will start early morning. Have breakfast at vedantha and move towards Karkala. Visit Chaturmukh Basadi, A Jain temple situated in the middle of the lake. Later on visit st lawrense shrine basillica a grand church. After that have lunch and munch on the famous gadbad ice cream. Later move on to Udupi to catch train back to Mumbai

Day 4: 

Reach Mumbai
